Attires & Ornaments in Mamita Dance, tripura

During Mamita dance, women put on traditional red and white skirts with an upper body cloth, making a merry and lovely appearance. They adorn themselves with innumerable necklaces along with silver ornaments like ear, bangles, anklets, and hair pot, each of which glorifies their graceful movements.

Men, who not only participate in the dance but also provide musical accompaniment, wear traditional jackets, dhotis, and turbans. Their attire is a nice complement to culture and fraternity, and their singing of the Mamita song brings about rhythm and fullness to this celebration, making the festival a rich show of tradition and community integration.
