The leggings are two-toned-red on top and broad; below it is yellow, forming a marvelous contrast. The upper half is fully embellished with geometrical designs painstakingly created from orchid skin, a natural and available local raw material, symbolic of aesthetics and earthiness. These leggings were not just the dresses; they were status symbols, worn specially for dancing or rituals or even for warriors' functions. Geometrical designs signify tribal symbols, ancestral heritage, and clan identity.
