The Warrior's Belt is a defining marker of stature and also speaks volumes on cultural identity. The breadth of this waist belt is made from bark fiber - a material for its durability and flexibility. The belt showcases five carved rectangular bone pieces, each carved into something that resembles a human face. This speaks volumes on the deep bond amongst the members of this tribe with regard to their spiritual beliefs and warrior traditions. The central piece forms a round-shaped bone.

The faces carved into these bone pieces are highly detailed and showcase a tribal artistry brought into existence through deep respect towards ancestors and great warriors by the Konyak people. These bones are decorative than marking strength and courage, worthy qualities in the eyes of their tribe. Mostly, this belt is worn by the warrior during his ceremonial event or in the complete attire of tradition. Thus, the representations are important in showing one’s status towards the clan. This is what Konyak Naga proves in the brilliant art of combining utility and symbolism.
