Warrior brass sculpture portrays the legacy of martial art and craftsmanship at their finest done by the Konyak Naga. The brass figure stands erect above a rectangular wooden pedestal with a dao-that traditional sword-in the right hand and a stick-some symbols of strength, defense, and tribal pride-all with the left hand bow shape and horn-shaped ear stud give the traditional grooming and warrior-like appearance of the Konyak men.
A necklace with the two skull hanging motifs indicates valor and also the headhunting past of the tribe, which formed a major part of their identity.
