This is evident in the handiwork of the Abor tribe, using palm leaf fibers for rain protection and combining it with cane to make carrying provisions, a mark of deep understanding of nature, making it clear as to how the community creates functional and sustainable clothing. This is indeed an exquisite raincoat made from tribal craftsmanship and is now part of the Indian Museum, Kolkata collection. This piece speaks volumes about how the Abor, like any other tribe, adapt to their environment.
