The Khiamniungans are widely famous for their martial traditions and also known for their finely crafted weapons. They were weapon craftsmen creating spear heads which can function for almost all warfare and act, a symbolic reflection of their culture. These traditional spearheads made of iron are exceptional in their duality and graceful processing. Each spearhead comprises a hollow lower portion shaped like a pipe and intended to attach securely to a wooden shaft. This tubular socket is tight with spears for durability and use accuracy.

The upper parts of each spearhead come long, pointed, and leaf-like, a certain configuration affording aerodynamics and penetrating ability. The leaf-like contour contributes to a wider cutting surface but adds an artistic touch, symbolizing this tribe's preference for the mean in functionality and aesthetics. These spearheads were earlier used mainly in hunting and warfare, but now they are kept as culture assets among the lines of historical valor, resilience, as well as craftsmanship of the Khiamniungan people. Examples may include the Tsokum festival, where these ancestral tools are displayed or carried in dance as part of the procession. These spearheads are reminders of the martial past to which the tribe still belongs and the continuing commitment to securing indigenous knowledge and heritage in the craft.
