short description
From a very deep perspective, the Mizo bamboo ladles are not only eco-friendly but also practical homeware that springs out of the awe of nature along with the skill possessed by inhabitants of the tribe. The artifact consists of a spoon set, the first being a broad comparatively shallow bowl, flat and wide handle; the other smaller of two, thus revealing a distinct use purpose of the two for, possibly one would be viewed for serving food and the other for stirring or scooping liquids. Spoon made thus could be such as made with bamboo, which is plenty in the slopes of Mizoram making these spoons light, durable and biodegradable. The bowl part mostly carved out of node of bamboo gives a natural curvature and the handle tends to be flat such as to facilitate grip.
