Sometimes the Rabha offer sickles to deities during a religious ceremony to ensure a good harvest or protect their land. In the old days, these sickles were meant for self-defense and hunting, and hence they are considered symbols of survival and strength. These days, people are typically using them for agricultural purposes and in day-to-day household chores. For them, it may not be just a tool, but really an important part of history, surviving discrimination, and respect for nature.
