Apart from that, the Loramucha guarantees the generation of incomes welcoming support for the indigenous textiles of the region. There was a renewed interest in handmade textiles which created a big demand both in local and international markets. Today, artisans merge traditional and modern designs to stay relevant and help keep the craft alive.
The shawl is the pride of the Angami people. It still serves as a living symbol of culture, craftsmanship, and identity to date. The unique shawl is getting its due recognition now as an important object of Nagaland's riches because of the increasing efforts being made to sustain tribal textiles.
