White is a very important color in the culture of Bishnoi; it means peace, purity, and closeness to nature, which are the basic values of their religion. The red colored stitching defines this subtle accent so loved by the tribe for most minimalist and classic cuts. Traditionally, this is made from hand-woven cotton, which makes it so very light and airy that it becomes very easy to wear and use within the conditions of hot and dry Rajasthan.

description
The Angarakshi is worn on a dhoti, paired with a turban, and is hence useful both in form and custom. Such clothing is seen by the Bishnoi community and are those women's clothes that very much emphasize the slow, strong, and green lifestyle of the Bishnoi community. It is now preserved and displayed by textile scholars and museums such as the National Museum, New Delhi, as a symbol of the community traditions of the Bishnoi.
