Gadaba Hills are very near to the land and then depend primarily on agriculture for their living. The uses of these bamboo baskets are more extensions of most everyday home or farm activities, such as carrying, storing, or transporting random numbers of farm products. Bamboo is renewable and abundantly available, and symbolizes the very art of sustaining a beautiful relationship between the tribe and nature surrounding it. Thus, through this, the yellow bamboo agricultural basket of Gadaba tribe is not only used in agriculture but stands as a symbol of their craftsmanship and culture towards demanding sustainable use of natural resources.
