This basket has cylindrical shape with one round opening on one end. Twisted bark rope is also an important part of this basket, which would be found to be tied to the mouth of the basket and used to carry or suspend it. This is natural and organic touch in the design of the basket as this rope is made up of barks collected from the trees of the local forests. The flat bottom of the basket gives it some lateral stability. The tribe uses this basket for several purposes, from storage of food to harvesting crops and movement of things. This is one of the essentials carried and practically used daily for demonstrating the strong bond between nature and sustainability. The generations have passed the art of making baskets into the unique understanding of the tribe with the environment and the efficient usage of the natural fibers.
