This earthen thing is functional and represents that the community should have a sustainable way of living. It is made from native clay and fired through the traditional firing method; thus, these pots are biodegradable and ecologically sound. The design has been passed from generation to generation, although simple, indicative of age-old craftsmanship.
These days, one would usually find these pots applied in a household setting or for ceremonial purposes, which include offerings and religious functions in the village monasteries.
