The old bamboo quiver with arrows is the traditional quiver of Arunachal Pradesh tribe Daffla (Nyishi). This is an example of the craftmanship and hunting skills of the tribe. the quiver is made from a hollow and cylindrical piece of bamboo with cane bands used for decoration and topped with a cone-shaped, woven cane lid. A twisted cane handle facilitates its transport; two bamboo wedges held by cane strips lock the quiver.

In the quiver, there are three long, cylindrical arrows. Of these, two have iron heads with two barbs head-on for hunting or for defense, and a third is like a spike, tapering off to a point at one end. Each arrow has a notch at the rear end into which the bowstring can be placed. The shafts are wrapped in thread smeared with resin for durability and grip.
The weapons are not only practically holds for hunting and protection, but also exhibits vast materials knowledge of the tribe, and that of their survival techniques. Thus, these combinations of bamboo, cane, iron, and resin will show how well they resorted to nature in material use.Such artifacts are now preserved in museums and are critically important for an understanding of the tribal identity, martial heritage, and traditional crafts of the Dafla (Nyishi) people.
