primarily as 'Indigenous' to eastern parts of India i.e. primarily in states as Odisha, States of Chhattisgarh, and Andhra Pradesh, the Khond Tribe is known for outstanding dependence on the Nature for sustainably harvesting local materials as well as had been major products in the day-to-day life of a Khond such as bamboo baskets. These are prime types of weaving ingenuity and knowledge of the natural resources of the tribe. Khond bamboo baskets are large, flat, square-shaped containers with their four corners at the bottom. They are more or less practical storage baskets.
