Traditionally, t'he Dried Leaves Bamboo Basket is a typical craft of Mishmi, one of the tribal communities of northeast India, coming especially from Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. It traditionally is a large barrel-shaped basket with a square base - made from splitted bamboos, and ornamented with finely weaved dried leaves between two woven bamboo works for additional coverage and strength.
