short description
The exhibition through bronze disc explains the craftsmanship of the Abor tribes in Arunachal Pradesh. Each of the above tribes has a very rich, cultured tradition, is good at different forms of arts, but excels in metalwork, weaving, and pot making. It throws my gifts about their relationship with the art and ritual practices. The artifact itself is a bronze disc with intricate engraved circles on an outer and inner surface to impart a dynamic texture and aesthetic value to the object. Then, this brings our eyes to its centre, emphasizing the significance of patterns and form in Abor tribal art. Such motifs may represent cultural beliefs of the tribe as a measure of the social status or that they were used to ornament or be symbolic during tribal ceremonies.

There will be a triangular projection running around the circumference of this disc, which likely has functional and symbolic value. It can be assumed that such shapes exist not only for aesthetics but also for associated spiritual or cultural importance in many tribal communities to create an altar for ritual or ceremony. This disc will be an exceptional item showing Abor metalwork and perhaps ritualistic application or adoring in tribal ceremonies. It is now being kept in the Indian Museum a
