A native people, the Abor or Adi tribe belongs to the Arunachal Pradesh state of northeastern India. Its cultural heritage and craft include one of its specialties, the conical-shaped tobacco pipe. Although functional, this item is also an integral part of the tribe's social practices and ceremonies. The tobacco pipe is made of brass, a strong material that can take beautiful designs.
