This traditional hat, shaped like a cone from the Naga tribe, comes with a round base and is weaved finely by split cane strips. It brings the very rich valued tradition in handicrafts of the Naga tribes besides conserving the connections with materials in nature. The conventional splits are firm yet light, suitable for using them in part of ceremonial wear or daily life in the tribal sense. What makes it very unique is the lovely colourful ornamentation at the top made out of animal hairs. There the hairs are while attaching to two gracefully bent cane strips pivoting above the head, thereby giving a big beautiful silhouette. The cap is crafted in the typical cone-shaped form of the Naga tribe and comes with a circular base made from split cane strips.

The caps constitute the most valuable culture in Indonesia for handicrafts, such as used for preserving acquaintance with nature's resources. The traditional splits were strong-sustained yet lightweight, suitable for wearing for ceremonial or daily life in an altogether tribal sense. And this makes it very special from the lovely colored ornamentation at the top adorned with animal hairs. On either side of the head, the hairs join two gracefully bent cane strips pivoting above the head, giving a big beautiful silhouette. There is also a twisted cane string tied on both sides of the hat, most probably for securing the hat when using it. Such hats are generally donned on festive occasions, tribal dances, and tradition that contains an important functional role for the headdresses in identifying, or denoting, an individual's rank or role in a community. It is the infusion of colors harmonized that also reveals the dexterity in crafting cane that exposes the artistic genius of the Naga people, while at the same time preserving their homage to ancestral norms.
