This traditional hat, shaped like a cone from the Naga tribe, comes with a round base and is weaved finely by split cane strips. It brings the very rich valued tradition in handicrafts of the Naga tribes besides conserving the connections with materials in nature. The conventional splits are firm yet light, suitable for using them in part of ceremonial wear or daily life in the tribal sense. What makes it very unique is the lovely colourful ornamentation at the top made out of animal hairs. There the hairs are while attaching to two gracefully bent cane strips pivoting above the head, thereby giving a big beautiful silhouette.
