The Lhota Nagas have a boat-shaped bamboo dish, which is the special traditional that they use in the state of Nagaland in India. While the dish itself is made up of the spathe of bamboo, having a stiff sheath like covering to the new shoot of the bamboo. The boat-shaped dish is like a canoe with two ends raised and the sides slightly curving inwards; it is a beautiful dish as well as being very useful for holding the items well inside it.
